Hi, I’m Dr. Jamie
A licensed clinical psychologist and seasoned life coach, with over a decade of experience working with clients from Honolulu to Boston. I bring a wealth of expertise in supporting clients to assess and determine their personal and deeply individualized values, goals, and life plan.
Over the past twelve years, I've been immersed in my passion as a behavioral research scientist. My work in the areas of mental health, behavioral change, and performance optimization has been published in three books and over a dozen peer-reviewed medical journals. After collaborating with various institutions, organizations, and agencies, I'm returning to my passion for working with individual clients on their journey toward designing and living a life consistent with their unique personal values.
From growing up in the vibrant atmosphere of New York City, I bring an open-minded and non-judgmental approach to my practice. With a PhD in clinical psychology and a post-doctoral fellowship in military behavioral health research, I obtained my license to practice as a psychologist. Additionally, I've pursued specialized training in resilience-building, behavioral change, and systems development.
Outside of my professional pursuits, I'm a dedicated fitness enthusiast, having instructed hand-to-hand combat techniques to personnel from the U.S. Army, Navy, and Marine Corps. As a self-proclaimed nerd, I'm always eager to discuss CrossFit programming or lifting splits.
My professional philosophy seamlessly integrates expertise with personal growth. In my clinical practice, I provide compassionate guidance to individuals facing life's challenges, offering support and strategies to overcome obstacles. Through personalized life coaching sessions, I empower clients to define and achieve their personal and professional goals. With my comprehensive life management system, individuals are equipped with the tools necessary for sustained success and fulfillment.
My Approach
It all begins with your why. Why do you want to develop a set of processes and principles to life you life by? What would you do if you took radical ownership of your time and approached every moment with the mental clarity needed to excel?
Get Clear on Your Goals
Today’s working professional wears multiple hats. You are expected to task switch dozen of times in an hour. At home our attention is similarly pulled in competing directions. Reflection is the first step in getting a handle on all of your life domains and determine what you truly want in every area of your life.
Build a Roadmap
Before GPS was on every mobile device, humans relied on physical maps to get them from where they were to where they needed to be. You won’t always have a direct route to your destination but the goal is to get closer to your destination with each step.
Execute by any Means
Thoughts and plans are great. Plans alone won’t move you forward. It takes purposeful action to bring you closer to your goals. Daily action, no matter how small is the key to achieving your goals, big or small, one step or one leap at a time.
